1850's Bungalow With A View!

When you enter the Bunglalow, you're met with an open, living room and yoga space with views out and over the view. This space is one unit of a duplex—completely private, with its own entrance and deck separated by a partition. On the lower level, we have 2 living spaces, a kitchen, dining, and a bedroom with a queen-size bed, dresser, nightstand. There's also a chaise lounge and a TV above the dresser that pivots to face either the bed or lounger. The fully stocked kitchen includes all the basics you'll need to cook a good meal, as well as a larger dining table with seating for 6, as well as island seating facing the beautiful 5-state view. The bathroom features an original clawfoot tub, toilet, and vanity with a mirror, plus a few toiletries in case you forgot yours. Upstairs, there is a loft bedroom with a queen size bed, dresser, TV, closet and AC. There is also a small office upstairs with a small sofa, desk and chair - perfect for getting work done in this home away from home. The sliding doors in the kitchen and bedroom open to a deck overlooking a stunning 5-state view—perfect for sunrise coffee or sunset wine. Outdoor furniture is available from late March through November. Please note: The loft is located on a main road, which makes it easy to access year-round—even in winter! That does mean some road noise can be heard, especially during the day. Most guests find it manageable, but we provide earplugs to help ensure a restful night.
